Mark it in your diary and look out for registration details in January!
What is it?
The “Pies to Pacific” ride is a great opportunity to become part of the solution, ensuring no one faces MND alone. The ride has a very “Aussie” flavour it’s between two famous icons – The Yatala Pie Shop and the Pacific Ocean at Bryon Bay.
We attempt to retrace the first three days of the original Million Metres for MND Ride which was held in May 2013 when Scott Sullivan and Ian Davis - both living with MND - rode a specially designed tandem bicycle from Brisbane to Sydney over 16 days.
This two-man mission captured the hearts of the communities along the route and Scott and Ian were able to raise over $60,000 for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research.
While Scott lost his battle with MND in April 2014, his legacy is well and truly alive.
Our goal is to have 100 riders raising $50,000 to support people living with MND.
