Joy Balderson recently held her first exhibition at the REDSEA Gallery in Fortitude Valley.
Joy’s beautiful depictions of the cornflower as the symbol of Motor Neurone Disease are as unique as they are beautiful.
Although the cornflower may seem fragile due to its appearance, it’s anything but. It is a courageous and determined plant, able to withstand some of nature’s unpleasant elements while thriving in areas where many other plants simply can’t. This beautiful flower exhibits qualities that remarkably mirrors those who face MND every day.
You can purchase a set of five (5) cards – with five different exquisite cornflower images – and five (5) envelopes to help us raise much needed funds for people living with MND.
